Job Purpose

Support analyzing dwg's from feasibility through design phase to achieve a product that can be manufactured with-in the factory's capabilities while working with MMC's to prepare and execute the trial phase of the new model development.



Key Accountabilities

  • Support feasibilities studies and detailed confirmations of new technologies, design concepts and manufacturing processes. Report back internally.

  • Identify past model problem history, sort data as required.

  • Collaborate internally to develop most efficient manufacturing process

  • Ensure a robust process design for mass production combining manufacturing requirements, factory characteristics and project targets.

  • Through the New Model development, help create and maintain all documents necessary for process, quality, robot/equipment, and training. Support daily production needs for the new model.

  • Support launch of the vehicle during initial production at the factory (T stage)

  • Support collaborative problem-solving activity with team members from final assembly factory, regional new model, and product design.

  • Develop capability of self through training and sharing of experiences to senior members. Learn other areas of the assembly line.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Required Work Experience:

  • 0-4 years' experience.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or equivalent related experience.

Desired skills:

  • Excel, Power Point, Catia

Additional Position Factors:

  • Generally, first shift production hours, occasional split/second shift support required. 0-5 hours OT weekly.

  • 20% Fast-paced high-energy manufacturing environment, 80% office environment.

  • Travel 10% per year depending on project location/status.
