Job Purpose
Support analyzing dwg's from feasibility through design phase to achieve a product that can be manufactured with-in the factory's capabilities while working with MMC's to prepare and execute the trial phase of the new model development.
Key Accountabilities
Support feasibilities studies and detailed confirmations of new technologies, design concepts and manufacturing processes. Report back internally.
Identify past model problem history, sort data as required.
Collaborate internally to develop most efficient manufacturing process
Ensure a robust process design for mass production combining manufacturing requirements, factory characteristics and project targets.
Through the New Model development, help create and maintain all documents necessary for process, quality, robot/equipment, and training. Support daily production needs for the new model.
Support launch of the vehicle during initial production at the factory (T stage)
Support collaborative problem-solving activity with team members from final assembly factory, regional new model, and product design.
Develop capability of self through training and sharing of experiences to senior members. Learn other areas of the assembly line.

Generally, first shift production hours, occasional split/second shift support required. 0-5 hours OT weekly.
20% Fast-paced high-energy manufacturing environment, 80% office environment.
Travel 10% per year depending on project location/status.
