Job Description
Develop embedded servo firmware for hard disk drives in the areas of servo loop design / optimization / calibration & actuator / spindle-motor control etc Design and implement Servo Loop design for hard disk drives Create servo firmware development plans and schedules to meet deadline and development specifications. Drives process / team / program changes and Influences team's outcomes Participate product development in Servo Loop design, integration and drive level failure analysis. Work independently and cross-functionally with the ASIC, Mechanical, Channel FW, and CTLR FW teams. MS or PHD in EE, or ME with emphasis in control system design. Effective in problem solving and communication with cross-functional teams Efficient in MATLAB, Simulink, DSP Efficient programming knowledge of C, C ARM processor and RTOS experience a plus Experience in drive level debug using emulator, serial port tracing, digital oscilloscope, and other failure analysis tools a plus
