The Role Headlands Research is looking for a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our team as we run cutting edge clinical research trials. The ideal candidate is passionate about clinical trials and making a difference and a team player who can collaborate and move at a fast pace. Type: Full-time, fully-benefitted Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am - 4:00pm Responsibilities Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the physician in charge of the clinical trial Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants' eligibility Maintains proper documentation Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports Qualifications Must have a passion and patience for working with patients suffering from neurodegenerative diseases Previous experience working with patients with neurodenerative diseases required Graduate of an accredited masters program Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of MA required Two+ years of professional experience working as a nurse practitioner required Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
