Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Job Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Duties:
- Responsible for Network Engineering support in Equinix features relating to SDN/NFV, Internet Exchange connectivity
- UAT design and execution, Prepare and deliver training to Operations teams
- Work with cross functional teams as necessary to troubleshoot and resolve network related issues (route, switch, firewall, datacentre).
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies and interconnections & AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Skills:
- 5+ years Proven hands-on network engineering experience
- CCNP or higher (CCIE preferred)
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, L2, L3)
- Solid understanding of the Data Center networking, Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto or similar vendor technologies
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
