As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in networking to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll analyze network infrastructures and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your expertise in network transport layers, network design, and architecture as you join our team of problem-solvers to evolve DoD capabilities. Your knowledge of Network Engineering will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in Network Engineering, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. You Have: 4+ years of experience in network engineering, including designing, analyzing, configuring, implementing, or troubleshooting complex network architectures for Cisco, Palo Alto, VPN, routers, and firewalls
4+ years of experience with developing and documenting network topologies
4+ years of experience with troubleshooting and restoring network and system outages
Experience working in a classified environment
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
8570 Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Nutanix
Experience with administering operating systems, including Windows or Linux
Knowledge of implementation and administration of Nutanix VPC and AOS
Knowledge of DC, NTP, ACAS, and DNS
CCNA or Network Plus Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
