Job Description:

Overview: This is more of a Network Design engineer; they will be hands on technically but they need to own things end to end. So things like completing Visio plans and documentation, creating plans on what they will be doing for the implementations. They will then be the Implementation engineer who implements the work in the Data Center as well.

FYI - They have state and international DC's.

It is critical they get very knowledgeable folks in these roles.

Example: they understand that mistyping numbers is crucial.

7-9 years' experience designing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprises

7-9 years' experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in a large enterprise environment

Strong experience in configuring Cisco and Arista Routers/Switches - could work in either of those. Will do turn ups, tech refreshes (end of life like Cicso nexus replacing, etc.) going into new builds with future growth.

Technical role hands on but also, own it from start to finish on the request, "I need more info" etc.

Owning things from End-to-end lifecycle.

Agile and go-getter personality

Large scale Datacenter experience is more critical than banking, but banking is nice to have. Experience working with Multiple data centers

Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now

Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams

Python, ansible, GitHub will make them go to top of the list
