Network Engineer II with Security Clearance

Overview/ Job Responsibilities We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support the meshONE-T program. This position is available at either the Denver, CO or Colorado Springs, CO Sev1Tech office. Plans, designs, and evaluates new and existing computer networks, services, policies and procedures across local area networks, wide area networks, and intranets, providing analytical, technical, and administrative support Troubleshoots network issues installs and upgrades network equipment and software Creates and maintains documentation relating to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records Establishes and documents network technical support processes and procedures Practices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications Monitors and tests network performance and provides network performance statistics and reports Communicate effectively with other project groups such as cybersecurity, network, operations, and Program Management teams to assist with the installation and troubleshooting of systems components Support of all updates to all documents when there is change in the transport design and/or technologies and collaborating with all stakeholders to test all related systems and processes to verify that the systems meet requirements and can host applications with no degradation to performance or security Provide design and architecture recommendations to enhance and improve network performance Salary: 115k (negotiable) Minimum Qualifications At least 5-8 years of network engineering experience of network experience: functions and concepts of a wide area network, OSI network layers, designing LAN/WAN's and network architecture and design Experience with routing/switching configuration and troubleshooting to the CCNP level IP experience (to include sub-netting and routing), IPV4/IPV6 Current Security + certification Some travel throughout the Colorado Front Range Area (Colorado Springs to Boulder)
