3 - CCNP Certified Personnel with 10 yrs Experience Minimum.

Synonymous Titles: Network Architect/Administrator/Engineer, Firewall Administrator/Engineer, VPN Administrator/Engineer, Remote Access Administrator/Engineer

Responsibilities Principle Accountabilities:

Execute and develop Implementation Plans for Layer 2 & 3 Enterprise Networks that include Spanning Tree, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Virtual Port Channels (VPCs), Port Channels, redundant connectivity to Internet Service Providers (ISPs), complex routing/switching infrastructure, extranet connectivity, data center design, and Wide Area Network (WAN) integration.

Easily traverse multiple Network Interfaces using a variety of Network Data Link Technologies such as: Wired Ethernet; Enterprise Wi-Fi; Serial Interfaces/Leased TELCOM connections using Frame Relay; VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP); Point-to-Point Protocol (P2P/PPP); High-Level Data Link Control (HDLC); Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP); Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) Protocol; Routing Information Protocol (RIP); Internal Routing Protocols (IRP); and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).

Deploy, configure, and maintain site-to-site and client-based Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), configure Internet Protocol Security (IPsec), and design, deploy, configure, and maintain Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) tunnels.

Deploy, administer, configure, update, and maintain Network Firewall Perimeters by way of fully formed Network Protection Plans.

Expand network capabilities through Bandwidth Optimization, Effective Transport Protocol Applications, Quality of Service (QoS) policies, DoS protection and Automated Threat Detection & Prevention

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Deep Knowledge of, and hands-on experience with, Industry Network Protocols: TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, Wireless LANs and VPN

Strong knowledge and experience in routing and switching protocol, WAN technologies including: MPLS; Point to Point; MAN, and Wireless LAN technologies including: LAN design standards and best practices; Data Center - Network Design and Wireless solutions; Security Standards with ASA Firewall designs and best practices

Experienced in the following Network Firewall Types: Packet Filtering; Circuit-Level Gateway; Stateful Inspection Firewall; Application-Level Gateway (Proxy) Firewall; Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) with Intrusion Detection (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) capabilities

Hands-On, Working Knowledge of at 3 of the following Firewall Management Systems:

Responsible for developing strategy and technology roadmaps for improved Cybersecurity posture in both pre- and post-breach environments, by assessing, and delivering technical solutions, policies, and standards for enterprise initiatives

Coordinate and communicate with the Enterprise Architect, IR Recovery Lead and PMO on Workstream tasks, status, issues, and escalations as they pertain to the successful conduct and completion of an Incident Response & Recovery engagement

Partner with Workstream Leads to architect technology solutions that deliver Cybersecurity controls and prepare preventive and reactive measures, as well as providing technical support and documentation to Dell Clientele during Incident Response & Recovery engagements

Execute and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT and Business operation

Possess one or more of the following industry related certifications:

CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CTIA-Network+, CISM, C CISO, CISA, SSCP, CTIA-Security+, CTIA-Project+, ITIL
