Responsible for managing all network administration and support of the Army Reserve Netcentric Operations in the Pacific. Primary duties include Network integration, installation and testing of solutions ensuring enterprise network availability of the MPLS Network over LAN, WAN, DISA, and commercial long-haul circuits throughout the Pacific Rim. The Global Information Grid (GIG) is the backbone providing connectivity of all enterprise operation services for Army Reserve Installation Headquartered at Ft. Shafter Flats. O&M of Network solutions shall include, but not limited to the Pacific LandWarNet (PLWN), Korea LandWarNet (KLWN), Army Reserve Network (ARNET), and Retention / Education / Family (REF) commercial networks. Installation and configuration of C2 network hardware, software and firmware IAW instructions/directions contained in an Engineering Solution and Life Cycle Management Plan. Installation includes resolution of any hardware, software, firmware compatibility problems or issues between existing AITP networks and new AITP systems. The Army Reserve Pacific AOR spans the largest DoD Theater on the globe covering CONUS and OCONUS locations, six time zones, three countries, two US territories, and 12 military installations. Tacoma, WA REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years of experience in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining core network infrastructure solutions.
Extensive working knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, multicast), VoIP solutions and cabling services.
Must have experience in diagraming network infrastructure and configuration design details.
IAT Level II: CCNA & CompTIA Security+ or CCNA Security
Current Solarwinds Certified Professional (SCP)
Must possess an active Secret Clearance or Secret/TS eligibility.
Must be able to work weekends and may be required to travel CONUS/OCONUS upon customer requests. (Passport Required) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in systems/network engineering in DoD environment (i.e. USARPAC and USARC).
Experience in implementation for DoD network security requirements. (STIGs and RMF)
Working knowledge of Cisco ISE.
Knowledge of MPLS Enterprise Infrastructure.
Knowledge of JTIC approved network equipment/solutions.
Experience in firewall design and implementation
CCNP certified
Current Solarwinds Certified Professional (SCP)
