For individuals who can take the initiative but work well within a team. The role Due to growth of Fugro in our Nearshore Projects we are now seeking a Nearshore Driller. You will be working within the field operations team. Fugro Nearshore Division is a Geotechnical contractor an innovator, and we design and fabricate highly specialised jack-up drilling and foundation systems. It is the drillers to operate our drilling systems around the globe from a variety of vessels for projects in the marine infrastructure, energy, and construction sectors. It is the drillers responsibility to ensure that a professional level of productivity is maintained throughout the drilling operations and always play an integral part in meeting client expectations. The Driller role will require you to carry out all activities in accordance with Health, Safety and Quality standards, this includes complying with the method statements and contributing to improvements. Who we're looking for: An experienced driller from the marine or land drilling environment or working with similar equipment. However, if you are driven and motivated to developing a career, we want to hear from, as we can offer full training for this role. You can demonstrate a good understanding of the operating function of appropriate drilling equipment's and ancillary plant. You need to have excellent communication skills and analytical skills to prepare good ground descriptions, complete drill and pipe logs and undertake in -situ testing. It is important that you thrive from working as a team. Fugro are seeking driven and self-motivated drillers, to deliver a high-quality service and achieve their goals.
