Nail Technician Instructor

General Purpose Supports the College mission and serves students, employers, and the College community by providing quality nail technician training in a safe, clean environment. Maintains a positive and productive learning environment by working collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty. This position would be about 10-12 hours a week for day and evening. Job Focus Provides instruction, monitors progress and advises students Promotes job readiness Fosters a productive learning and training environment Maintains and implements a classroom management plan consistent with College policy Encourages and exemplifies professionalism and good work habits Interacts with students in an atmosphere of open communication Performs other work related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience Licensed as a Nail Technician. Meets all requirements as a Nail Technician Instructor as outlined in the State of Utah licensing guidelines. Equivalent of 2 year's full-time work experience as a Nail Technician Preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Requires strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
