Overview

The purpose of this job is to perform the duties of Nail Technician and Aesthetician in accordance with the State laws and company standards for satisfactory performance.

A Nail Technician and/or Aesthetician will work in a resort setting where excellence in customer service is paramount. We value strong conversational skills that are needed while pampering our guests.

Responsibilities include but not limited to, providing nail and hand services to our guests, such as basic Manicures, soakable gel nails, hand massages, hot oil therapy and Pedicures. Responsibilities will also include skin and facial treatments and remaining up to date on current trends and services.

The Nail Technician/Aesthetician must have on the following:
  • Current Florida State manicurist or cosmetology license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Up to date knowledge of cosmetology trends and skills
  • 1 year Nail Technician/Aesthetician experience

Pay includes: Hourly Wage, Commission and Gratuity.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED. 1 year practical experience and State License.

Language Skills: Must have good English conversational skills. Must be able to communicate with hotel guests, customers, and fellow employees.

Reasoning Ability: Must be able to reasonably assist the guest/client/customer with regards to their needs for services.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: State License as a Nail Technician and/or Aesthetician

Physical Demands: Job frequently requires prolonged sitting, and use of arms, hands and fingers. Requires reaching and hand manipulation. Some walking and standing required.
