Consultants for Long Term Care CLTC is seeking experienced Service Evaluators a.k.a Mystery Shoppers, interested in conducting occasional evaluations of upscale senior living communities in CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, VA, and VT. This is a self-employed Independent Contractor opportunity, often called gig work. It is not W-2 employment or a permanent position with ongoing work or set hours. We are currently seeking numerous Service Evaluators who want to earn some occasional extra money who live in/near these locations: As a Service Evaluator, you'd be given a scenario to use. Typically, you'd say you are seeking accommodations for a family member 75+ years old who needs basic assistance, meals, transportation, and socialization. Some scenarios include the loved one having dementia or requiring healthcare. You'd call/tour each assigned community, and rather than trying to catch someone doing something wrong, you'd look for everything that's being done right. Then, you'd fill out an online report on your entire experience, including any areas where opportunities for improvement were noticed, and scan/upload copies of collateral materials they give you. The assignments require the evaluation of one community from the list above, plus 1-4 of their local competitors. The pay is $125 per location and most assignments are 3-locations. So, if selected for three locations, the pay is $375; for four locations, $500; and for five locations, $625. We have some evaluators who perform one assignment per year and others who perform one a week. It's up to you. The calls and tours must be completed on non-holiday weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you're interested, click Apply Now for directions on joining our database.
