Job DescriptionPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Work with the Maintenance Manager and/or Plant Manager to eliminate downtime in trouble areas
- Repair production equipment as safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
- Work on assigned projects
- Fabricate and install new equipment
- Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Document maintenance services in AIMS
- Perform regular inspections on cranes and lifting equipment per NOV standards
- Maintain facility and/or work with contractors as necessary to do so
- Maintain a high level of safety & quality awareness
- Communicate with support personnel and production in a professional manner
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS - High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
- 2 years minimum experience; Electrical experience preferred
- Crane, Welding and PLC experience is a plus
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required - this will start on 1st shift then transition to 2nd shift.
- Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts and man-lifts, or ability to learn to do so
- Ability to read precision gauges
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
- Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
