Responsible for all cost accounting and management activities including evaluation of inventory and manufacturing product cost. Ensure that all transactions are recorded to the general ledger accurately and timely and the appropriate cut off is established for the accounting period. Manage General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Invoicing. Report reliable and accurate financial and operational results. Manage capital expenditure projects and oversee their progress to completion. Manage the career development of accounting department personnel. Establish financial plans and budgets as a guideline for performance. Balance financial performance among the other various operational goals. Oversee that annual physical inventory activities are performed in accordance with financial policy. Support Operations Management in policy making and decisions aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing cost. Oversee compliance with Government Accounting standards and regulations. Financial planning and analysis to include preparation of annual profit plan and monthly forecasting. Provide guidance to the cost reduction program in the plant. Implement new systems and procedures as required to more efficiently and capably manage the operations and assets.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.

The experience and education requirements are:
Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing accounting in a manufacturing plant environment.

Must have five (5) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Management of other employees within a global manufacturing organization
- Accounting principles, including US GAAP and IFRS
- Oracle, power BI, Concur, Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Share Service Center experience managing central processes for accounting and reporting under global reporting standards
- Encore Software Planning and reporting
- Internal controls environment including knowledge of GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley requirements
- Preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operation analyses and reports
- Budget preparation and budget presentation skills
- Financial and ERP systems, including SAP or Oracle
- Sourcing and manufacturing practices and performance measurements followed by Operations personnel
Requires a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a directly related field
