This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will: Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations Perform accurate image archival Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient This positing is for 2 open positions Salary Range: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Licenses o ARRT, CRT - required. MR certificate required
•  o ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) - required Venipuncture certificate - required BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required AA or BS - preferred Siemens experience - preferred Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies Ability to identify contraindications for exams Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes) Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
