Position: MRI Technologist

Location: Norwood Office

Schedule: 2nd shift, 3pm-10pm

Responsibilities:

As an MRI Technologist at Riverhills Neuroscience, you will play a crucial role in patient care, contributing to both clinical and administrative functions. Your responsibilities include:

Perform MRI examinations of all types, as directed by physicians.
Obtain complete patient/implant history to ensure all safety requirements are met.
Obtain lab work information to ensure appropriate creatinine levels for contrast studies and administers contrast agents with documentation in the EMR with anticipation of the potential for adverse reactions.
Apply independent judgment to produce studies of excellent quality, confirming quality with radiologist, and reporting any routine protocol changes to administrator and co-workers.
Assist with the scheduling of patients to ensure timeliness of exam and compliance with contrast policies.
All other duties as assigned.

Background and Experience:

Associates Degree of Science in Radiological Technology required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & AED training required.
Experience with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice management system is required.
Ability to calmly handle multiple tasks at once.
Great interpersonal skills with sound judgment, maturity, and an ability to establish good rapport with patients, physicians, vendors, and staff.
Ability to deal with patients, physicians and staff with tact and diplomacy.
