Client Summary:

Founded in 1884, our client is an academic medical center whose Centers of Excellence include cardiovascular care from minimally invasive heart surgery to transplantation, cancer care, stroke care, neuroscience, orthopedics and women's and children's care.

Summary of Need:

Explaining the MRI process to patients and ensuring the patients comply with all safety standards.

Positioning, and possibly sedating, patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.

Removing and then replacing IVs and catheters for the MRI process.

Maneuvering the MRI equipment and positioning it to capture the correct images.

Monitoring patients during scanning and maintaining patients' records.

Monitoring MRI equipment functions.

Ensuring clear images for Physicians to provide accurate diagnoses.

Recognizing abnormalities and irregularities in images.

40 Hours

Mon-Fri 9a-5:30p + call (1, 8.5hour/week and 1, 24hour every 5 weekends)

call during the week would be 10p-7a (after hours)

2 YRS Acute Care EXP REQ. If candidate has Client experience, the manager is fine with 1.5 years of MRI experience

In-patient, Outpatient, and Emergency room patients. Must be able to perform Full spectrum of MRI Studies

No Cardiac MRI performed on site

BLS, ARRT (pref) or ARMRIT who sat for The ARRT as well as an ARRT(R)(MR)

Specific Equipment: Client preferred

EPIC Charting

First time travelers accepted
