Seeking an MRI TECHNOLOGIST for a Full time and Permanent Role at a Large Health System near Kansas City.

Job Details: MRI Technologist - Full Time Perm
Location: Kansas City Metro Area
Salary: $32.82 - $46.63+ and up depending on years of experience + Shift differentials
Benefits : Comprehensive Benefits Package
Schedule: M-F 1:30pm - 10:30pm
On Call: weekend rotation every 5th week

Job Description:
The MRI technologist is responsible for producing quality MR images while providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety. MRI technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines.

Requirements:
Graduate AMA approved School
1+ Year Experience
Confident with pacemakers

License Required: Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
Certificates Required: BLS
Equipment used: Siemens 1.5 T Sola, Cerner, Unity PACS, Interview PACS
Achieva 1.5 Philips Magnet experience a plus

Responsibilities of MRI Tech:
Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique and may require remote MR Technologists Assistant oversite.
Produces high quality diagnostic images. Operation of multiple MR systems may be required.
Demonstrates the ability to use all channels of communications to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants, on site.
