Motor Grader Operator

Rogers Group Inc - Madison, TN Full-Time Day Shift Wages based on experience. Higher compensation based on grading and equipment experience. Rogers Group is currently seeking a MOTOR GRADER OPERATOR for Construction Operations based out of Madison, TN. This position will work on a site grading crew doing site and utility projects in the northern middle Tennessee market. The successful candidate for this role will have at least 2 years of experience operating a Motor Grader to complete fine and finish grade work, and an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Qualifications: Uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine grading sub-base to paver ready tolerances. Ability to operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill and proficiency and in challenging and unique terrain environments. Experience working with GPS control preferred. Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management. Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Effective communication skills applicable to position. Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary. Team player. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
