• As an emergency medicine physician, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in need of emergency medical services.
• Your expertise, clinical acumen, and ability to make swift and accurate decisions in critical situations will be crucial to the success of our emergency department.

• Annual volume: 51,000
• High acuity
• Hospital beds: 450
• ED beds: 64
• Trauma level: II
• Board requirements: board certified or eligible in emergency medicine
• Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions, injuries, and emergencies
• Perform initial patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as required
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and best practices, considering the individual needs of each patient
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and potential risks and benefits
• Monitor and reassess patients regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and addressing any changes in their condition promptly
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and departmental meetings to promote excellence in emergency medical care
