Module Yard Construction Manager

CCL Global are recruiting Module Yard Construction Managers to support large capital projects throughout North America. The successful applicants will have oversight of the prefabricated modules used in the construction of industrial facilities, such as refineries, chemical plants, and power plants.

Duties Include:

•  Planning and coordination: The module yard construction manager is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction project, including the scheduling of personnel, equipment, and materials. They must also ensure that all construction work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
•  Budget management: The module yard construction manager must manage the budget for the construction project, including the costs of labor, materials, and equipment. They must ensure that the project is completed within budget and that any changes in the budget are communicated to stakeholders.
•  Contractor management: The module yard construction manager must oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors working on the project. They must ensure that contractors are meeting project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
•  Quality control: The module yard construction manager must ensure that all construction work is performed in compliance with quality standards, including monitoring the work of contractors and subcontractors to ensure that it meets project specifications.
•  Project reporting: The module yard construction manager must provide regular project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and subcontractors. They must also keep accurate records of project activities, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
•  Risk management: The module yard construction manager must identify and mitigate any potential risks to the project, including safety risks, environmental risks, and financial risks. They must develop contingency plans to address any issues that may arise during the construction process.
•  Communication: The module yard construction manager must maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and subcontractors. They must ensure that everyone is aware of project goals, schedules, and progress.
•  Team leadership: The module yard construction manager must lead and motivate the project team, including contractors, subcontractors, and support staff. They must foster a positive and productive work environment and ensure that everyone is working together to achieve project goals.
Overall, a module yard construction manager is responsible for ensuring that the construction project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Essential Requirements:

•  Minimum of 10 years heavy industrial construction module experience.
•  Experience of using MS Project, P6, Go Completions or similar software.
•  Strong Leadership skills.
•  Willing to travel, including occasional business trips abroad.
