Title: Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Job Description:
- Work with Playwright test automation framework, and continuous integration such as GitHub Actions.
- Work with our mobile test automation framework ( Appium / WebDriver IO)
- Build test automation for application features and functions owned by the team.
- Build a contextual fan experience that is unique to each fan within the application.
- Work with a team of engineers to implement cutting-edge features into the application to enhance a fan s experience while following baseball.
- Work closely with the product management, design and engineering teams in an agile environment and bring quality and testing to ALL phases of the application s development cycle.
- Own quality assurance and test frameworks for the features the team supports.
- Create test solutions that work across Web, iOS, and Android platforms and services those platforms
- depend on.
- Help shape the way fans interact with baseball by bringing passion for the game and the fans into test
- design, implementation, and execution.
- Drive innovation in test automation framework development, bringing the latest ideas & concepts to
- continually evolve application quality.
What You Have:
- 3-5 years of experience working in a Test Engineering position.
- 2-3 years of experience building test automation frameworks preferably in Playwright or multi-year
- experience in other platforms such as Cypress or Selenium
- Experience building mobile application test automation (Appium, Espresso, UI Automator, XCUITest)
- Experience with software coding especially as it relates to building test automation. (JavaScript, Typescript, Java, Kotlin, Swift)
- Experience integrating automated tests into a CI/CD pipeline. (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo)
- Understanding of shift left, shift right, and TDD / BDD concepts and past experience implementing them in teams.
- Strong competency with implementing common test methodologies in teams including a variety of test types
- such as functional, integration/contract, performance, security, usability, and accessibility testing.
- Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with typical scrum methods.
- Experience working with large scale SPA & PWA and designing tests for these types of web applications.
- Experience with React, Node.js, Jest unit tests, and style components is a plus.
- Experience with Accessibility testing and incorporation of the WCAG standards into testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the game of baseball, and key events throughout the season.
