A Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the adherence of products or processes to established quality standards. This role involves designing and implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, analyzing data for improvement, and actively contributing to the development of a robust quality management system. Quality Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams, design tests, and work towards continuous improvement to enhance overall product or process quality. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are integral to fulfilling this role successfully.


What you will do

  • A Quality engineer job duties typically include designing and implementing quality processes, which includes - Understanding the features, designing test strategy, test cases and executing the tests.
  • Validate API functionality for both web and mobile clients.
  • Analyze requirements for gaps and identify potential design flaws that may lead to future bugs.
  • Design and implement quality control processes to ensure product adherence to standards in fronted and Backend.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
  • Go beyond bug identification; understand the root cause and escalate the defect and clearly outline the steps in a defect report.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to assess and enhance quality of the product.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail during testing.
  • Should demonstrated strong teamwork skills and be able to communicate and coordinate with team members to address quality concerns.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of prior testing experience.
  • Strong understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) principles
  • Knowledgeable in agile and testing methodologies and industry standards
  • Mobile App Testing using Appium

What will set you apart

  • Effective communication abilities within cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail during quality assessments.
  • Must possess knowledge in validating REST APIs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to comprehend data mining, coupled with a strong understanding of SQL script.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining quality engineering processes.
  • Having knowledge of Web Application automation for techno-functional role is an extra advantage. Preferably Java and Selenium.
  • Knowledge of BDD framework is an added advantage. CICD.

Base Salary Range

$59,900.00 - $84,650.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
