We are currently seeking multiple Permanent Mobile Lighting Technicians to join our dynamic team in the Technology Industry. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to utilize their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. Our Mobile Lighting Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile lighting equipment. The successful candidates will be tasked with ensuring our lighting systems are operating at optimal performance levels and meeting the needs of our clients.

Job Details

This role requires extensive travel to various locations (200+ days on the road/year). Nights, weekends, holidays are very common as well as long and odd hours.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile lighting equipment, including but not limited to lighting towers, generator sets, and electrical control systems.

2. Operating a variety of heavy equipment such as crane trucks, forklifts, and aerial lifts to facilitate the movement and positioning of lighting equipment.

3. Conducting routine maintenance checks and inspections on lighting equipment to ensure they are in good working order and meet safety standards.

4. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with lighting equipment and implementing effective solutions.

5. Responding to field service calls and providing onsite repairs as needed.

6. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and adhering to all safety regulations.

7. Providing exceptional customer service, including advising clients on equipment usage and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a lighting technician or in a similar role within the technology industry.

2. Demonstrated proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as crane trucks, forklifts, and aerial lifts.

3. Proven experience in field service work, including equipment repairs and inspections.

4. Extensive knowledge of lighting equipment and systems, with a strong mechanical aptitude.

5. Basic electrical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems.

6. Experience with routine maintenance of lighting equipment.

7. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.

8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

9. Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to quality and safety.
