Mobile Device Support Specialist with Security Clearance

MIPS/MCS is hiring for a Mobile Device Support Specialist at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits. The Mobile Device Support Specialist must demonstrate the ability to provide customer service and basic Mobile Device troubleshooting skills to DoD personnel. The Mobile Device Support Specialist will require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations. Typical duties include: Providing on-site IT mobile device services and management for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard user community, including over-the-phone support for offsite/remote location users around the United States. Receiving, cataloging, tracking, troubleshooting, and documenting requests for service for cellular devices, laptops, tablets, and hotspots. Restoring services for existing devices, and preparing, configuring, and issuing new devices. Collecting and maintaining appropriate documentation to report to the government customer. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems issues. Required: Clearance Requirements: DoD SECRET Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Certification Requirements: CompTIA certifications preferred Experience Requirements: Two (2) years of experience in a customer service or related environment. One (1) year of experience providing customer mobile device support. Demonstrated understanding of trouble ticket system operation.
