ULicensed Social Workers - LCSW or Licensed Professional Counselor LPC - for a face-to-face mobile behavioral health role in Clayton County. Staff will work alongside Clayton county police staff to provide onsite clinical support. Specific Responsibilities: Serves as first responder providing community-based, face-to-face, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis provided in community settings. Assist in deescalating the crisis through the provision of support to the individual and the officer. Provide assistance to the individual/family/caregivers in developing a crisis plan to decrease the potential for future crisis occurrences. Identify and, when possible, link the individual to needed community resources required to meet immediate and/or ongoing needs. Complete 1013's as appropriate. Master's degree from an accredited school with a valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW or an LPC. Minimum 2 years direct behavioral health experience and mobile response experience is preferred. Knowledge of DSM V diagnosis, inpatient psychiatric treatment protocols, brief therapy and chemical intervention protocols and skills, medical models, and psychotropic medications. Familiarity with full range of treatment options and mental health service delivery systems. Experience with Mobile Response and working with Mental Health and/or law enforcement is preferred, must be flexible with work schedule and available to work nights and weekends, demonstrate respectability, accountability, responsibility, and reliability. Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed AND Two years of supervised experience in the area of assignment.
