Local manufacturing company in the Tomah area is seeking experienced welders.
Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Type: Evaluation Hire
Location: Tomah
Shift: 1st shift 6 AM - 3:30 PM - OT as needed
Wage: $21.91/hour
Job Duties:
Performing MIG welding on production line
Working in a timely manner to meet production goals and deadlines
Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Measure dimensions of completed products or work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
Other duties as assigned
Must be able to pass a welding test.
Job Qualifications:
Ability to pass a welding test
Welding experience (One or more years' previous experience)
Able to perform repetitive welding motions working on line
Ability to stand for duration of shift
Able to read tape measure and ruler measurements
Excellent attendance and strong work ethic
High School diploma or equivalent
