Assist Program Officers with conceptualizing, developing, budgeting for, and socializing new Fundamental Research programs, new Technology Candidates (preFNCs), new Future Naval Capabilities (FNCs) and new Innovative Naval Prototypes (INP) Programs
Support the development of investment strategies, technology roadmaps, preparation of warfighting payoff assessments, and prepare periodic updates to the program investment plans, as required
Support preparation of draft briefing materials, meeting/trip agendas, reports, correspondence, and action item tracking
Liaise with Senior Navy Officials and senior leadership at other Services, Department of Defense (DoD) organizations and international DoD partner services and organizations
Support in special studies and technology advisory panels, as required
Assist and coordinate Program Officers plans, projects and program activities with other DoD organizations and other Government agencies to support, facilitate, and avoid duplication of investments
Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans that incorporate all relevant studies and analyses
Track Department Whitepaper Submissions against the Long-Range Broad Agency Announcement Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen
Active DoD SECRET clearance
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
A master's degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of experience
Seven (7) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics
Recent experience (last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting
Experience in evaluating and developing analytical models, procedures, and techniques
Experience in executing and reviewing technical studies, analysis, and design activities
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred:
