Mid-Level Physicist

Title:
Mid-Level Physicist - Secret KBR is seeking a Mid-Level Physicist to join our team in Kihei, HI. Responsibilities: Develops technology and solve problems in areas such as image reconstruction, adaptive optics, lasers, imaging through turbulence.
Plans and conducts scientific experiments and studies to test system performance.
Performs mathematical calculations to analyze sensor data.
Develops computer software to analyze and model data.
Supports experiments and testing of novel Space Domain Awareness capabilities. Required Qualifications: B.S. in STEM or related field
Minimum of 8 years' experience in imaging system design, operation, maintenance and control of adaptive optics and wavefront sensing systems,
Demonstrated experience in design, assembly, troubleshooting and maintenance of optical and laser systems
Broad background in physical sciences
Familiarity with the USAF and US Space Force space control/space domain awareness mission area
Master's degree in electrical optics or related field Preferred Qualifications: PhD in electrical optics or related field Clearance Requirements: Secret KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
