Tapestry Solutions supports 85 defense, commercial and government customers from over 50 US locations and nine countries. Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Mid-Level Field Support Representative to work in Powidz, Poland. The FSR directly supports the fielding, set-up, integration, use and training of U.S. Government and Tapestry Solutions, Inc., logistics software applications. The FSR provides direct field support to the customer in their garrison, training and operational missions. The FSR works with customers to set-up, integrate and operate Global Distribution Management Systems (GDMS) software in garrison and tactical environments. The FSR works with customers to maintain network connectivity and resolve any software, hardware, operating systems and information issues that impact system availability. The FSR trains, troubleshoots, creates plans of action, repairs and maintains the performance of designated application systems and critical hardware connections. The FSR resolves network and applications issues in the field and assists the customers with submitting incident reports into the Government managed incident network process and system. The FSR is the direct support liaison for the customers and provides the reach-back support to the Product Lead, US Government customer and technical support capabilities. The FSR demonstrates a strong working knowledge of distribution management and movement control operations while instructing subject material for the GDMS and other Government and Tapestry Solutions, Inc., systems as required. Position Responsibilities: Deliver over the shoulder and classroom training
Create and present briefings and demonstrations that address system capabilities and uses for operators, commanders and staff
Create, submit and present required reports as directed by Product Lead.
Service computer hardware, software and operating system in coordination with customers
Relay the needs of using commands and units to Product Lead.
Keep the user appropriately informed at all times of network, hardware and software issues
Ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
Provide insight into customer's processes and issues to management and participate in product strategic planning sessions.
Train military, government and selected contractors in the use of system software applications and hardware, as directed
Travel as directed to support customer requirements
Troubleshoot and repair problems during the set-up, networking and use of software systems to include firewall issues that prohibit connectivity between software systems
Perform duties supporting operations centers, movement control activities and support logistics operations activities
Understand the mission of the organization being supported, how to integrate the GDMS capabilities into their missions and how to use critical GDMS and transportation information to support the command's decision making process
Conduct analysis of multiple complex problems and provide support of the mission planning and mission execution processes
Work problems and incidents to resolution with the US Government customer and GDMS staff.
Upgrade hardware and software systems with approved hardware and software releases, maintenance builds and approved security and anti-virus updates
Support technical, instructional and help desk operation requirements in support of deliverable software products
Respond in a timely and professional manner to assignments, customer generated trouble tickets problem identification and diagnosis, user requested assistance, documentation clarification and system performance issues
Maintain computer files, monitor system performance, maintain user and administrator logs and provide ad-hoc or periodic reports
Monitor data destinations and provide real time visibility on system performance, timeliness or data transfers and connectivity
Working in Army logistics or Army transportation with an MOS in the transportation corp. In addition, Military logistics experience and the knowledge, particularly in the transportation, movement control and distribution management areas1+ years of experience with TC-AIMS (TOPS) and GDMS in a live forward operational area such as CENTCOM
Working with Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) to track and maintain in-transit visibility (ITV) and total Asset Visibility (TAV) of equipment and commodities
The FSR must be able to operate with the CONUS and OCONUS deployed Military forces in support both operational missions and institutional and operational training requirements
Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product life cycle This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance: This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Required Education and/or Experience: 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment
3+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation Preferred Education and/or Experience: 3+ years of experience with military logistics, either as a contractor, or military service

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree in a Technical Field (i.e. engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or similar) Typical Education and/or Experience Qualifications: Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's Degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
