The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Health and Safety Specialist to join our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) organization in Fort Greely, AK. Position Responsibilities: Develops, implements and monitors occupational health and safety programs and processes Develops and provides training and instructions Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections Plans and conducts health and safety audits This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Confidential clearance Post Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher 3+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) 3+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits 1+ years of project management experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with ordinance, and government contracts Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.) Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
