We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Microsoft Administrator to join a dynamic IT team. This is a permanent, career oriented position with a fast growing and forward thinking marketing communications company. This creative minded firm provides a full range of digital and print solutions for customer engagement.


As a Microsoft Administrator, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our Microsoft technology stack, ensuring seamless operations and collaboration across the organization.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in O365, MS licensing, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).




Responsibilities:




  1. O365 Administration:



    • Manage and administer Microsoft Office 365 applications and services.

    • Implement and optimize O365 features to enhance productivity and collaboration.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to O365 applications.




  2. MS Licensing:



    • Monitor and manage Microsoft licensing for software compliance.

    • Evaluate and recommend licensing solutions to meet organizational needs.

    • Keep abreast of changes in Microsoft licensing models and ensure compliance.




  3. SharePoint Administration:



    • Design, implement, and manage SharePoint sites and content.

    • Collaborate with teams to ensure effective utilization of SharePoint for document management and collaboration.

    • Provide support for SharePoint-related issues.




  4. Active Directory Management:



    • Maintain and administer Active Directory infrastructure.

    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups.

    • Implement and enforce security policies within Active Directory.




  5. Group Policy Objects (GPO):



    • Develop, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects for desktop and server environments.

    • Ensure GPOs align with organizational security and configuration standards.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve GPO-related issues.





Qualifications:



  • Proven experience as a Microsoft Administrator with a focus on O365, MS licensing, SharePoint, Active Directory, and GPO.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies and services.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with scripting and automation for administrative tasks is a plus.

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate are advantageous.


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in O365 or SharePoint administration roles.
