Microbiology Technician

We are looking for a Microbiology Tech (8:30am - 4:30pm, Sunday - Thursday) to join our team and play an essential role keeping our product safety program and execute improvement initiatives to achieve Plant Level KPI's in a team centric environment. What You'll do: Conduct microbiology testing for a variety of industries (food, cosmetics, and pharma). Adhere to expected sample turnaround times to ensure product safety and quality. Prepare media for daily production and maintain inventory. Perform microbiological environmental sampling such as air monitoring, surface monitoring, water, etc. Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and procedures. Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods. What You'll bring: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biological Science). 2 years of microbiology experience is preferred. Familiarity with Aseptic Techniques. Knowledge in Lean and 5S. Good Interpersonal skills working in a team environment and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. What You'll Get: Excellent pay and benefits from day one.
