Managing Management Consultant SAP S/4HANA Commercial Project Management

Overview: Client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Commercial Project Management (CPM) Lead/Senior Consultant to support the Discovery and Explore phases of our SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The role involves requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design in close collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Discovery Phase:
- Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and objectives.
- Analyze current business processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Develop an understanding of the business landscape and project scope.
- Explore Phase:
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
- Facilitate blueprinting sessions to map processes and define future state.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis for necessary customizations and enhancements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align business needs with technical solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the CPM point of contact for business stakeholders.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations based on best practices.
- Communicate with project sponsors, steering committees, and end-users.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including business process documents and functional specifications.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and stored appropriately.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 7-9 years of experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA CPM and SAP Project Systems.
- Proven experience in Discovery and Explore phases of SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA CPM and Project Systems modules.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and CPM configuration and integration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and manage expectations.
- Certifications:
- SAP S/4HANA CPM certification highly desirable.
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
