Embark's Stabilization and Assessment program is a residential treatment center dedicated to highly acute adolescents. The program specializes in the stabilization and assessment of adolescent boys ages 12 to 17 and their families. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Southern Utah and Zion's National Park, our campus in Hurricane, Utah, provides more than just treatment - we offer a warm, home-like atmosphere.

  • Effectively manage case assignments, ensuring a manageable caseload to facilitate the establishment of strong client rapport.
  • Maintain compliance with treatment standards through meticulous documentation of notes and adherence to MTP (Master Treatment Plan) standard requirements.
  • Contribute to the achievement of program goals by implementing and meeting outcomes testing and standards.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of program completion and discharge requirements for all students.
  • Develop comprehensive discharge plans for students, ensuring thorough review with both students and their family members.
  • Seize the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with adolescents and their families, bringing joy to their lives and contributing to generational healing.

  • Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or a related discipline.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or equivalent.
  • A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
  • A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Preffered - Two years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Preffered - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
  • Ability to pass a state background check
