Social Service Agency is adding a new member to our Behavioral Health Program. The Mental Health Therapist provides clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with identified mental health issues. Services are provided with client-centered and family-centered approaches and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions. We offer a hyprid work location to accommodate clents who prefer virtual sessions.
Therapeutic Intervention
- The Mental Health Therapist will complete mental health assessments.
- The Mental Health Therapist will develop treatment plans with measurable and observable goals.
- The Mental Health Therapist will provide developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions for children, adults and families.
- The Mental Health Therapist will complete all agency required documentation and grant-specific documentation in a timely manner.
Other Responsibilities
- Therapist will attend and participate in team meetings, staff meetings and required trainings.
- Therapist will maintain agreed upon caseload
- Therapist will provide the highest possible level of service to clients.
- Therapist will promote teamwork and cooperative effort among employees.
- Therapist will maintain safe practices
Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications
- LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LCP or PLCP will get preference however we can provide supervision if needed to complete your licensure.
