As a Mental Health Tech, you'll partner with Psych Nurses to assure safe and quality nursing care in accordance with approved policies, procedures and schedules. In our psych unit of 20 beds at Bryn Mawr Hospital, you will assist patients with their daily living, take vital signs, observe patients' behaviors, plan patient activities and/or support groups and respond to crisis situations in a timely manner. Position: Mental Health Technician Shifts Available: Full Time Nights 7pm-7am (3 12 hour shifts) Experience: One year of psychiatric experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit or comparable experience preferred One year of psychiatric experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit or comparable needed for per diem positions Education: High school diploma required. BA in Psychology or equivalent degree preferred. Nursing Student clinical rotation experience is great too. Apply today.
