POSITION SUMMARY :

You will have an opportunity to utilize your prior experience and creativity to bring forth innovative ideas to provide a stimulating, yet comforting environment to ensure our residents thrive in their environment.? You will partner closely with management and staff to ensure effective day-to-day operations, e xcellent customer service and quality care initiatives. The Memory Care Manager will serve as an ongoing resource, taking the lead in problem solving and providing guidance to memory care unit team members.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8AM- 5 PM

What will you do in this role:

  • Make frequent house rounds on all shifts to assess performance of nursing staff and to monitor the quality of care provided as it relates to memory care residents
  • Establish and ensure that staffing levels and scheduling patterns are adequate and have appropriate coverage at Community
  • Support the Health and Wellness Director in planning and scheduling of staff training programs
  • Assist in pre-admission assessments of potential residents. Assists in orienting new residents to the physical environment and community culture
  • Provide exceptional care and service

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Demonstrated management or leadership skill
  • Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's or other related dementia preferred
  • Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Scheduling experience and prior experience with online scheduling systems preferred
  • Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed is essential
  • LPN, experience in Senior Living, Memory Care experience, and management experience
