Position Title: Memory Care Director (MCD) Department: Resident Services Schedule: Full Time, Exempt Direct Reports: Memory Care Associates Position Reports To: Executive Director Pay Range: $57000.00 to 65000.00 per year, depending on applicable qualifications and experience. Who you are: A degree in a related (social services, therapeutic recreation) field highly preferred. At least 2 years' experience managing direct reports. Experience with budgeting/maintaining departmental finances preferred. Knowledge of and experience with program facilitation and activity program development Dementia specific certifications a plus. General Summary: Rose senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality & people focused Director of Memory Care to join our team. This role is responsible for the daily operations of the memory care neighborhood: planning, coordinating, and directing of a wide and varied scope of activities and programming which meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical, and environmental needs of the residents. Managing memory care budget. Communicating with family members/residents. Supervising team members, coaching and providing leadership. Other Duties: Must be comfortable communicating with family members in a timely manner regarding the memory care neighborhood. Must be comfortable being a "hands on" manager with a daily presence in the MC neighborhood. This is NOT an "office" job. The incumbent will spend most of their day throughout the MC environment with team members and residents. Must be willing to participate in manger on duty rotation with leadership team. Must be able to supervise, coach and progressively discipline, when necessary, memory care team members. Supervise memory care activities team members, ensuring a wide and varied scope of activities and programming which meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical, and environmental needs of the residents. Ensure timely and complete payroll/timekeeping for memory care team members biweekly. Participate in recruitment of memory care team members. The Community embraces a culture of hospitality.
