Medical Technologist

Description: Medical Technologist will perform all necessary laboratory testing in the detection, diagnosis, and prognosis of disease Follows written lab procedures for the correct handling and processing of specimens. Trouble shoot any laboratory machinery equipment Reviews accuracy and completeness of results prior to releasing in the Laboratory Information System (if applicable). Recognizes unexpected or unreasonable results and/or testing delays. Follows protocols for acceptance/rejection of patient results. Locating and transporting specimens as per company standards and protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science 1 Year of CLIA lab experience required Experience with Urinalysis testing About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
