Medical Technologist

Immediate medical technologist/technician opportunity with one of the largest diagnostic laboratories in the state of New Jersey. This position requires a candidate with a bachelors degree in a science and experience with Urinalysis. Description: Follows written lab procedures for the correct handling and processing of specimens. Utilize Roche instrumentation for autochemistry testing Trouble shoot any laboratory machinery equipment Provide software analysis for all results Reviews all pertinent SOPMs. Reviews accuracy and completeness of results prior to releasing in the Laboratory Information System (if applicable). Recognizes unexpected or unreasonable results and/or testing delays. Follows protocols for acceptance/rejection of patient results. Locating and transporting specimens as per company standards and protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science and/or combination of education and meets CLIA personnel standard criteria.
