Medical Research Specialist

Provide excellent and technically demanding clinical and research laboratory skills in a careful and independent manner. Organize and oversee day-to-day operations in the laboratory. Knowledge and skills in biological sciences, genetics and basic chemistry. Ability to work efficiently and skillfully. Ability to manage mice colony, such as setting up breeding, perform genotyping, manage the colony, performing basic procedures including injections, bleeding, tissue procurement. Demonstrated knowledge of cell biology and molecular techniques such as tissue culture, PCR, Western blotting, DNA isolation, RNA isolation, and gel electrophoresis.
