MUST:
Experience Medical Receptionist - MOHS
2 plus years of experience as a Medical Receptionist - MOHs
Must have a background in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, MOHs, and/or Surgical Field
Must be tech savvy
Must have prior customer service experience
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be comfortable handling heavy incoming calls
Experienice scheduling surgeries highly preferred
Experience handling insurance verifications

DUTIES:
Registers new patients with complete and accurate demographics according to procedure
Verifies patient's insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit
Updates patients' charts so that the information is entered correctly
Scans documents into the electronic medical record as directed.
Completes work daily to compile missing demographic and insurance information for billing purposes
Obtain prior authorizations for care
Answer phones taking patient demographic information
Other duties as assigned
