Responsibilities

As a Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for:

1. Handling all aspects of medical malpractice and personal injury cases from inception through trial.
2. Drafting and filing pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents.
3. Conducting and defending depositions.
4. Arguing motions and representing clients in court.
5. Preparing for and participating in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
6. Navigating complex litigation and traumatic brain injury cases.
7. Collaborating with team members to develop strategies and deliver superior legal services.
8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal practices, and court decisions relevant to medical malpractice and personal injury law.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the position of Permanent Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate possesses the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Colorado state bar.
3. 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, and complex litigation.
4. Proven experience in pleadings, discovery, depositions, and arguing motions. Trial experience is preferred but not required.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of arbitration and civil litigation.
6. Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
7. Strong negotiation abilities and a keen attention to detail.
8. The ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively and efficiently.
9. The capacity to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
10. A commitment to maintaining the highest levels of professional and ethical standards.
