Job Description: The Medical Lab Technology (MLT) Lab Assistant is directly accountable to the MLT Program Director for the following duties and responsibilities. The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the College change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission. Set up educational laboratory activities and samples for the MLT program. Prepare lab equipment for educational lab activities. Clean and maintain lab equipment under supervision. Receive, store, and inventory supplies. Assist in educational laboratory activities as needed. Maintain the cleanliness of the lab and ensure proper water disposal. Complete annual mandatory compliance training. Requirements: High School diploma preferred. Good organizational skills. Willingness to participate in student learning. Ability to bend, stoop, stand, lift, and move objects of at least 20 pounds, and reach lab bench tops and shelves. Additional Information: Classification: Part-Time Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour Hours: Up to 29 hours per week Location: Fort Walton Beach Campus FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Application Deadline: Review of applications will begin immediately.
