Medical Laboratory Technician

Utilizes professional judgment and application of principles, theories, and techniques of Medical Technology to produce accurate and reliable test results which aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited school of MLT or technical school required. ASCP or equivalent registry is preferred. Sufficient knowledge of principles, methods and practices, procedures and terminology to perform the routine tasks of a Medical Lab Technologist are required. Skills in the use of laboratory equipment and software and the ability to advise others on technical questions involving Laboratory procedures are required.
