Exciting opportunity to join the Avera Laboratory , one of the top labs in the nation. This is a temporary position for less than 6 months. Position Highlights: + Gain valuable experience with multiple areas of expertise: Phlebotomy, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, and Serology + Do you like working with people? Job Summary + Responsible for expeditious and accurate performance of routine clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions. Education and/or Experience + Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science required upon hire Certification, Licensure, Registration + Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP or AMT required within 12 months of hire. Work Schedule + Varied Shifts, 80 hours every 2 weeks: + Occasional weekend + Occasional holiday + Temporary position for approximately 6 months Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. + $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
