Established oncology group in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Medical Director to lead its growing team of Hematology/Oncology and APPs. They are the largest provider of cancer care in East Tennessee, with eight locations throughout the region. The Medical Director will be responsible for the overall clinical oversight for the group/medical oncology program in collaboration with the group?s leadership team.


About the practice

  • The team currently consists of 10 Hematology/Oncology, 3 Gynecology/Oncology, and 12 APPs
  • Supported by a team of nurse navigators, oncology nurses, dieticians, genetic counselors, clinical trials specialists, physicists, pharmacists, social workers counselors, and much more?

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of clinical experience
  • Previous effective provider leadership experience
  • Must be board certified in both medical oncology and hematology
  • The medical director will do at least 2 days of clinic per week.
