Full Time:
Estimated compensation is minimum of $525,000.00/annually, and maximum is $600,000.00/annually.

Envision Physician Services is seeking a Radiologist to join our team as the Regional Medical Director (RMD) servicing our HCA hospitals in the Tampa Bay area of West Florida. This is an ideal position for someone interested in clinical leadership as well as healthcare administration.

This opportunity calls for 50% clinical work as an onsite radiologist and 50% dedicated time to clinical leadership & administrative responsibilities. The RMD will serve as the physician leader responsible for driving quality of care, best practices, physician productivity, and proper financial performance throughout the market.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical & Operational Leadership: The RMD will play a central role in all aspects of division management and is expected to lead the market to both clinical and financial success. Specific highlights of the position include:

Overarching responsibility for the appropriateness and quality of medical care provided throughout the market.

Playing a key role in physician recruitment, including involvement in the interview and selection of candidates.

Collaborating with market Director of Operations on multiple administrative tasks including: Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR), Capacity Demand Management, physician productivity enhancement, market financial performance and schedule administration.

Collaborating with client facilities to update and improve policies & procedures relating to the department of radiology.

Stewardship & Client Relations: The RMD serves as a steward of the practice at the executive level and is expected to act in the best interest of practice owners. The RMD is expected to maintain open communication with client-side regional leaders. They are also expected to be present at regional operating reviews & meetings, present KPI metrics and be able to explain and influence market performance.

Education/Experience

  • Radiologist, MD or DO Medical License
  • 3 or more years in Clinical Practice
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology Ideally, 2 or more years management or leadership experience, which may include time as a medical director or officer, as an associate/assistant medical director, or equivalent experience.

Compensation

  • $500,000-$600,000 range
  • Start Date Bonus: $50,000
  • Annual Medical Director Stipend
  • Relocation Stipend - $10,000
